Sales/Account Manager—Amstore

What the Job Is—Position:
• Lead key account team(s) to improve competitive position and deliver value with assigned customers
      -   Understand customer organization and objectives; build relationships
      -   Align internal team—project management, customer service, engineering, operations—to deliver excellent execution on projects
      -   Serve as chief customer officer and sales strategist on assigned accounts to improve position and expand the business
• Report to VP, Sales
• Moderate travel; day trips or overnight, depending on customer location

What You Know—Education and Experience:
• College degree
• Experience and aptitude in sales, engineering, manufacturing, or construction; industry experience in store fixtures and equipment, POP preferred
• Demonstrated results in key account management as either leader or individual contributor

Project Manager—Amstore

What the Job Is—Position
• Key player on 1-3 account teams
      - Planner/analyst: translate sales strategies (from our One Page Plan) and customer opportunities into internal work steps and project plans; use information on quantities, dates, inventory, schedules, and costs to support account team performance
      - Process owner: manage project steps and order flow from sales through shipping; intervene and elevate when required to insure we meet our performance goals
      - Communicator/coordinator: support Account Manager when on road, gate keeper for all project communication, coordinate work steps between outside customers and inside team members
• Report to VP, Sales; dotted line to Account Manager(s)
• Work closely with: everyone—engineering/development, purchasing, production control, manufacturing, customer service, shipping, customers
• Location Grand Rapids, MI (Steelcase campus); occasional travel to store sites

What You Know—Education and Experience:
• College degree in engineering, design, architecture, construction management
• Demonstrated interest or aptitude in manufacturing or construction—it helps if you like to build things
• Ability to visualize in 3-D and read prints
• Experience with ERP in job shop manufacturing; facility with excel
