Since going to 100% waterborne finishing nearly 20 years ago, we have been committed to minimizing our impact on the environment.  Here are some of the ways we do this today.

  • Minimize waste going to landfill by recycling everything we can recycle
  • Reuse or give away all of our dust
  • In process of implementing of our own biomass energy center
  • High-efficiency, motion controlled lighting in our plant and warehouse
  • Reduced internal logistics by consolidating in a single location
  • Use local suppliers (within 50-mile radius) for vast majority of domestic purchases
  • Optimized setup of our heating equipment for more efficient operation
  • Regulating air exchange as needed to minimize reheat and optimize air distribution throughout the system
  • Current supply of particle board, mdf and melamine is CARB certified
  • Phasing out our gas-powered forklifts and replace them with electric material handling equipment
