We are based in a 900,000 square-foot facility that affords us significant fixed cost, quality, productivity, and capacity benefits of consolidating operations under a single roof.

Production

Due to the custom and seasonal nature of our business, we have developed the Amstore Production System to maximize flexibility, productivity, and quality. We utilize state-of-the art engineering software and machinery, including 17 cnc machines, all programmed online and interchangeable. Our assembly model enables us to flex up the number of assembly cells and team members several times to meet seasonal demand without sacrificing quality. We have expansive warehousing and shipping/rollout capacity, with a demonstrated ability to manage more than 500,000 square feet of inventory comprising over 15,000 individual part numbers and to load and ship up to 80 truckloads per day.

Sourcing

We draw upon a blended domestic/offshore supply base. Our West Michigan location gives us access to local, world class suppliers, many from the office furniture and automotive industries. In addition, we have developed an extensive network of offshore suppliers covering all materials and components. Our Shanghai office manages and develops our offshore supply base and expands our strategic activities in Asia to support our customers. This blended domestic/offshore model allows us to optimize quality, economics, and leadtimes on every project.
